Work in administration
Work in the administration of a foreign state was of great importance for Polish citizenship from January 31, 1920 to January 18, 1951.
The admission to work in the administration of a foreign state during this period resulted in the loss of Polish citizenship. This applied to both women and men. In accordance with judicial decisions, work in foreign administration included not only civil servants but also teachers. It did not matter whether or not citizenship of a foreign state was acquired at the same time.
